I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2005 with a BS in Agricultural Development. I then went on to obtain my Texas Teaching Certification for grades PK- 4.
I began teaching in 2006 as a 2nd grade teacher, which I did for 8 years. My family and I then relocated up north, and I began my career at Perrin Elementary in 2014, teaching 1st grade for 3 years, then 3rd & 4th Science and Social Studies for one year. I was given the opportunity to come back down to 2nd grade, and I am very excited to be back in the grade in which I started. This year marks my 17th year teaching, and I am looking forward to a great year!
My husband and I have been married for 13 wonderful years. We have 4 amazing children, ages 10, 8, 7, and 4 (turning 5 in October). My children definitely keep me busy and on my toes!
