Mission Statement

The mission of the District, including Board members, administrators, and staff, in partnership with parents and community members, is the commitment to the preparation of our students for life in a changing world. Believing that all children can learn, the District shall provide its students with the basic skills needed to establish a knowledge base upon which new skills and life-long learning can be built.

About our Community and School District

Perrin-Whitt Consolidated Independent School District has served the community of Perrin since the first school was established in 1914. The Perrin and Whitt school districts joined forces in the 1970s.  Perrin, Texas, is located on Highway 281, halfway between the neighboring cities of Jacksboro and Mineral Wells. Perrin is a farming community located in the heart of oil and gas country. Our mascot is the Pirates.  The mission of our school district is to prepare our students to be leaders in today’s world. We are very proud of the many Perrin graduates who have gone on to great successes in many walks of life, and it is our continuing commitment to our students to make sure each of them is equipped to contribute to our society when they leave our school.
