Week 2 of PE page 1

Welcome to week 2 of PE!  Exercise at least 5 days a week for 30 minutes.  You will need a wellness journal to document the exercises and amount of time spent exercising daily.  There are also questions that will need to be answered in you journal.   Choose 3 activities or challenge yourself to do all of them!!!  You will turn in your journal at the end of April.

Activity 1- Strength and Stretch for Bike Season

Bike season is upon us!  Coach Early and I couldn’t be more excited but we all have to get ready to ride.  The best way to get ready is to up our cardio-respiratory endurance and also strengthen and stretch the muscles we use during bike riding.  Click on the link below to watch our bike fitness video and you will be ripping turns in no time!

Single Deadlift with rotation

Side lunge

Hip rotations

Side plank with hip drop

Toes taps

Bird dogs

Bridge
