Rescheduled: Athletic Physicals for 2008-09 School Year
Attention: The physicals that were scheduled for May 8 is now rescheduled for May 20, Thursday. This is due to a death in the Doctor's family.
Physicals for 2008-09 7th graders, ninth graders and eleventh graders will be available at Perrin HS in the new gym on Thursday May 8 @ 8:00am. Cost will be $25.00. Make checks payable to Trev Dixon.

High School Athletic Banquet May 15, 2008
Banquet will be held at Los Vaqueros in Willow Park (Northside of I-20)
Start Time 7:00pm
Tickets purchased ahead of time will be $12 dollars and $15 dollars at the door. See BJ Cox or Tana Brown to prepay.

Perrin FFA Banquet
Perrin FFA will be hosting its annual FFA Banquet on Thursday, May 22 starting at 7pm. Everyone is invited to attend.

National Honor Society Induction Date Changed
The induction of the new members to the National Honor Society was on the May Calendar for May 6. This has been changed from Tuesday to Thursday, May 8, 2008.

Becca Singleton Heading to Austin (State Track Meet)
Becca Singleton won the Triple Jump this past weekend at the Regional Track Meet in Nacogdoches. Her winning jump was 34'6". Her first jump of the day at 33'10" was good enough to win, but she hit the better jump on her last attempt.
The State Meet will be held at the University of Texas in Austin on May 8,9, 10.
Also competing and placing in the meet at Nacogdoches were:
Macey Mathis in the shot put finishing 5th with a throw of 32'10".
Michael Drake in the 200 meter dash with a personal best time of 22.3 seconds (handheld time) finishing 4th overall, just missing the state qualifying mark by a step. Michael also finished 9th in the 100 meter dash.
The 4x200 meter relay team of Justin Epps, Michael Drake, Addison Bradley, and Grant Jackson finished 9th with a season best of 1:33.6 seconds.
Grant Jackson and Justin Epps also competed in the Long Jump with best jumps of the day of 18'10" and 19'6" respectively.
Congratulations to ALL of our track athletes from Perrin Jr. High to PHS for a great year.

BOGO sale is coming!
The Buy One, Get One Free Scholastic Book fair will be May 6th-13th @ 8:30-3:30 in the school Library.
This is a great time to stock up on summer reading, showers, birthdays and yes, Christmas. All items are included in this sale.
Parents and community members are invited to come and shop.
